Take your next step into management. With your experience in providing support to vulnerable people you will manage a team of both experienced and inexperienced support workers. You will be based in our West Norwood office. The team you supervise will be working with adults with learning disabilities throughout the South London boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, and sometimes beyond.
This is an ideal role for someone on a career track in health and social care to use their practical knowledge to ensure that employees work to high standards. The post will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills.
Full time post (36 hours/week) with a salary of £22,745 per year, (plus extra for on-call, etc.) Benefits include paid annual leave of 25 days per year plus bank holidays, child care vouchers (through salary sacrifice), workplace pension scheme with employer contribution, paid training to stay on top of and advance your career, and the ability to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
The MAC (Multi activity centre) currently offers day activities to service users with learning disabilities. Service users attend on one or more days with usually no more than 12-14 individuals attending at any one time.
